As the music teacher at OLA for the past eleven years, my primary goal is to connect every student to the world by developing a true appreciation of music. I strive to nurture the diverse talents of my students and encourage them to continue to grow and succeed. I hope, in turn, music will matter to my students as well!

Teaching Experience

2001- present: music teacher OLA School. The program consists of teaching music theory, music history, instruments and vocals to Kindergarten through Eighth grade. I also direct the choir at school liturgies, and I compose and direct the Christmas program involving the entire student body.

1997-present: Private instructions: piano, violin, and theory all ages. Some students are members of the Sacramento Symphony Orchestra. Presently, some former students are majoring in music at various universities. 2009-present: Instructor of violin at William Jessup University.

1999-2003: Chamber instructor at First Baptist Church.

1993-1997: Violin and piano teacher Music School Stauceni, Moldova.

As a substitute I perform in the following orchestras when needed:

Member of the orchestra for one of Manhattan Steamroller’s concerts.
I also performed in the following orchestras on full time basis from 1993-1999:

  • Orchestra of the Opera-Theater Studio in Moldova
  • Member of the Violinists of Moldova.

Music Production

“Two of us”: A CD consisting of a compilation of compositions for violin.

Travel Experience

Various concert tours through Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia, and Romania from 1993-1999.
