I have been a part of the OLA community since my oldest daughter started kindergarten here in 2006. My husband, Cortlandt, and I have four daughters. Jackie is 15 and a sophomore at St. Francis High School, Gigi is 13 and in 8th grade at OLA, Lulu is 11 and in 6th grade at OLA and Maggie is 9 and in 4th grade at OLA. I grew up in Fresno and attended Cal Poly SLO for college where I earned my degree in Social Science and played tennis. I got my teaching credential at Stanislaus State and I went to law school at McGeorge. I have worked both as a teacher and a lawyer throughout the years.
This is my second year as the OLA Librarian and Academic Decathlon Coach. I enjoy working with students of all ages and promoting a love for reading and learning. I teach preschool through 4th grade for weekly library classes, 4th and 5th grade reading literature groups, and 6th, 7th and 8th graders on the Academic Decathlon Team. I believe strongly in the importance of a faith based education and will do everything I can to support the students and community of Our Lady of the Assumption.
