Hello, I’m Ms. Esther. I’ve been married for almost 6 years and 4 years ago we had our first children, identical twin boys (Jonathan and Julian). I come from a large conservative Catholic family. I speak three languages Spanish, English and American Sign Language. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree and I taught for two years at a preschool in Woodland, CA for the deaf and hard of hearing. I moved on to work as a manager for Social workers for 10 years with Mental Health Adults and Children. After the birth of my twins, I re-evaluated my career and decided to pursue my love of working with children. I returned to school and completed my early childhood education units with honors. I taught at OLA for the 2012-2013 school year and had to leave for a short time. During that time, I participated in a Program where I was able to build on my professional skills and assist me to teach those new skills to my students. I am really excited to have returned to teach at OLA and make it my home.
During my free time, I love spending time with my immediate and extended family. We enjoy cooking together/ Family meals, riding our bikes, taking walks and swimming.
