While continuing my education in the field of art, I have been showing my own art works in galleries. I am involved in the local art community, contributing to the KVIE art auction, chairing and judge in art shows. One of my paintings was shown at the California History Museum in Sacramento. I have illustrated three children's books. My first illustration is called, The Little Candle That Was Frightened of the Dark. My husband, Herman, teaches at Del Campo High School and we have two grown children both living in Southern California. We feel very blessed for the love of family, work, and education
I am currently teaching art to 3rd through 8th grade on Thursdays and Fridays. My class expectations for my students are to follow directions, try their very best, work quietly, be polite, respectful, and to clean up on time. I hope to instill in the students to enjoy creating, to invent and to explore art, to use their imagination and to appreciate the arts.
