I was born in San Francisco, but grew up in San Rafael. My elementary school years were spent at St. Raphael's from 1st - 8 th grade. After graduating from SFSU, my husband, Jim and I moved to Sacramento where I became a special education teacher in SCUSD. I retired two years ago after 38 years.
I have two sons. Niclas, graduated from Jesuit in 2002, lives in Petaluma and works in financial investments. Harrison, graduated from Jesuit in 2009, married Mary Cecilia in April, lives in Concord, and works as an accountant. In their free time, my sons and my husband, love to play golf.
In my spare time I enjoy swimming, hiking, gardening, reading, cooking, eating, and most recently am attempting to play golf! I love to spend time with my family, friends, and my grandpuppy, Gracie.
I enjoy being at OLA. I've had a wonderful experience with the staff and students and am so happy I came out of retirement! This is a great place to be.
