Priorities

Our Lady of the Assumption School admits students whose ability and any previous general record in academics and conduct indicate the probability of success. Special consideration for admission is given to siblings of current students, to students of families registered and active in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, students who promote from our preschool program, and to students who are Catholic.

Age

Incoming kindergartners must be five years old by September 1st



Students may be admitted in any grade as space permits. Applicants will be evaluated based upon any prior record of academic performance and conduct. Students may be assessed for readiness to determine placement in the appropriate grade level

Please attend to learn more about our school program from our Principal, Ms. Nicole Grant, and members of our faculty at 7:00 p.m. in St. John’s Hall located off Walnut Avenue parking lot between the school and church buildings.

Mass begins at 9:30 a.m.
Classrooms are open from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

January 28, 2018
Kindergarten, Kinder Rich, Transitional Kindergarten and Preschool Visitation

Kindergarten & Kinder Rich: 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Preschool/Pre-K: 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Please check in at the school office (off Walnut Ave.) prior to visit.

Students will be assessed for readiness to determine placement in the appropriate grade level.

Consistent with its Catholic mission, Our Lady of the Assumption School admits students of any race, color, nationality, religion, ethnic origin or disability, and does not discriminate in its programs or activities. In the event Our Lady of the Assumption School cannot address an accommodation for students with special academic or physical needs, school personnel will assist the family in finding an appropriate learning environment to address those needs.

Additional Pre-Admission Requirements:

  • Each family will meet with our Pastor, Fr. Eduino Silveira and Principal, Ms. Nicole Grant prior to March 21, 2018. Please contact Jane Ricci at development@olaparish.net to schedule your appointment.
  • Each student will complete an assessment to ensure appropriate readiness to meet our rigorous academic learning expectations.

Financial Aid:

In supporting the mission of our school and ensuring the affordability of a quality Catholic education, Our Lady of the Assumption Parish offers tuition assistance to qualified families.
