Our Lady of the Assumption Extension Program offers before and after school care for OLA students. Our program is based on care and concern for your child’s needs; we strive to give your child a sense of their own worth and specialness in all aspects of living and learning. Extension operates in accord with the philosophy and value system of OLA school. We offer each student a variety of experiences and activities within our Catholic environment. Study, enrichment, faith, recreation, rest and relaxation are part of each day.
The Extension Program: is open in the morning from 7:00 am to 7:30 am and from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. If a pick up later than 6:00 pm is needed it can be pre-arranged and must be pre-approved by the Director. There is a dollar per minute charge that must be paid at the time any child is left after 6:00 pm, without prior approval. All children are offered a nutritious snack right after school. Then all children in grades one thru eight attend study hall. In study hall we do our best to review and correct students homework but, we recommend you review your child’s work with them at home.
Daily Snacks: We are a peanut and tree/nut free campus, and all other students allergies will be accommodated to the best of our abilities, but we recommend you provide your child an alternative snack if you child has a food allergy.
Any questions pertaining to your child or family can be answered by Lynn Sweeney, OLA Extension Director, who oversees both the KinderRich and afterschool programs. Please call 916-489-5427 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
