Welcome to Our lady of the Assumption School, a Ministry of Our parish that provides a great education to our children to help them develop their whole being-mind, body, and spirit. Our goal is to prepare our children for life and to make them disciples of Jesus Christ as He commanded the Church to do. As our Holy Father, Pope Francis stated, Catholic schools are much more than a place to expand intellect...
Our Lady of the Assumption Parish School (OLA) was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary. OLA has strived to provide its students with an excellent Catholic and Academic education. OLA is a school rich in tradition and community spirit. Our school motto is “Hands to Serve, Hearts to Love,” and this motto reflects the Christian love and service that we promote daily in our program...

Guided by our school’s mission and philosophy, our faculty and staff work to ensure that our students grow both spiritually and intellectually. Our curriculum built upon a foundation of Catholic values, challenges our students, sets them up for success, and lays the groundwork for the college-prep classes. Throughout their time with us, our students learn to be productive, responsible, and caring citizens of our world.
I give You my hands to do Your work.
I give You my feet to go Your way.
I give You my eyes to see as You do.
I give You my tongue to speak Your words.
I give You my mind that You may think in me.
I give You my spirit that You may pray in me.
I give You my heart, that, in me You may love Your Father and all people.
I give my whole shelf that You may grow in me, so that, it is You Lord Jesus, who live work and pray in me.
Surrounded daily by faith-filled people, an enriching curriculum and a strong sense of service and community, our kids have thrived at OLA. Our oldest two sons, now at Jesuit High School, were well prepared, academically and socially.
My husband and I cherish the ‘community at OLA. It really has become a second family, as we have seen in times of triumph as well as tragedy. I can honestly say that choosing Our Lady of the Assumption School was the best choice for our family.
